general information

My first collective was called Obsessed, hosted before at my now ex-domain, brokentragedy.net. It was a subdomain and was only meant to be a joined fanlistings collective until one day in 2006, I decided to venture into the art of making fanlistings. That's when I decided to have my own domain which would not only contain my joined fanlistings but also house those subjects I own and love for which I'm lucky enough to be approved. That's where brightly-wound.net came in. It was my first collective domain and have had it for more than 2 years until I decided to change domains and close it down permanently in January 2009. Brightly Wound was inspired by a song of the same title by Eisley. I love the band so much and Brightly Wound is my favorite track off their album, Room Noises. The domain was registered on Aug. 17, 2006 and was opened on Aug. 19, 2006. It was formerly hosted at SurpassHosting.com until I decided to terminate my hosting account due to financial issues.

Brightly Wound was replaced by iridescently.org. It was registered on Dec. 23, 2008 when I finally decided to change my fanlistings domain after I won a domain from the NameCheap.com contest held last December 2008. I've been inspired by one-word domains and have fallen in love instantly with this one while browsing words from a dictionary.

I took the adverb form since it's available. I've started moving my fanlistings here a few days after I bought the domain and have finished moving everything by the end of January 2009. The site officially opened to the public in Feb. 2, 2009. It's currently hosted by the wonderful, Jessica.
